We all have a bucketlist whether we call them that or not, and we all live in the shadow of that bucketlist as time goes by. We all say we will do it all, but time gets the better of us. This blog is where I'll plan and execute as many as I can, writing about it all as frequently as life will allow until hopefully one day it's complete, then we'll just add more ;)

Bucketlist Item #00002:Bobsledding at Whistler Sliding Centre
Whilst I write this I'm writing it from the point of view that I'll be doing this bucket list item locally as I know a place I can do it, but I'm not limiting myself to here as I would be willing to do it else where. That bucket list wish is to try the high speed adrenaline sport bobsledding. It first made it to the front of my consciousness when I saw an ad for the Whistler Sliding Centre on groupon offering a ride on one of the bobsleds either in the summer on wheels at speeds up to 90kmh and on ice in the winter with speeds up to 125kmh. I've never once thought of getting in a bobsled before, but after reading this I really want to partake. I know the whistler sled course looks pretty fun, lots of corners and up to 4G's of force, how could you not want to? Being that I live pretty close to whistler it shouldn't be hard for me to find the time to get out there and get this one of my list. The only thing that keeps me from doing it is the cost, the summer costs $170 for one ride, and at those speeds that's $170 for not a lot of time. I can't remember how much it cost in winter but as far as I remember it's a bunch more than the summer time rate. I just can't really imagine how great the speed and turns will look and feel, especially if I got to sit in the front. Not sure exactly where the pilot sits, as they provide one pilot and spaces for three people, but I really hope I can get to sit in the front to see the best view. For the speed, tight corners and pure adrenaline that's why Bucketlist Item #00002:Bobsledding at Whistler Sliding Centre

BUCKETLIST Item #00001: Vulcan Point Island,Philippines
First posts on a blog about bucketlistable things is hard to narrow down. So I decided to go slightly odd over super death defying or ultra cool. So I give youuuuuuuuuuuuu.... This tiny island.
I know, I know, doesn't seem like much, you're probably thinking, what could you even do on this tiny island. And here it is, I would like to stand on it.
That's it! Stand on it you exclaim? Why is that a bucketlistable event? You ask.
This little islands name is Vulcan Point Island of the Philippines and was once referenced on a YouTube show going by the name "The Vlogbrothers" starring Hank and John Green.
Love love love the Green brothers, but that's another post all together. So a long time ago someone mentioned that the Green brothers fictional future site of the evil baby orphanage would be this island because of its unique placement in the world which is this Vulcan Point island is in Crater Lakes which is on Taal Volcano Island which is in Lake Lawa Ng Taal which is on the Island of Luzon which is in the ocean. Did you here that? It's an island on a lake on an island on a lake on island on the ocean ha freakin' ha ha! If that isn't something that is weirdly bucketlist worthy I don't know what is, and thought it was the perfect first bucketlist item blogpost to give this blog the right flavour lol. Also while this should fall under my future Philippines post I thought this one was specific enough to warrant its own post, but I will link this post in that post in the future once I have had written it. So with that being said, BUCKETLIST ITEM #00001: Vulcan Point Island, Philippines
